This home is built over a crawlspace. There were several cracks on the outside walls of the home. These cracks were also seen on the inside above the door fame in the homeowner’s living room. In addition, the floors throughout the home were uneven.
AquaGuard’s solutions included Helical Piers, new construction piers, SmartJacks and stabilizer posts. This installed foundation system allowed the wall gaps to close, decreasing the homeowner’s risk of having their wall bow and eventually crumble apart.

When Melissa L. realized that her basement walls were allowing water to pour in, as well as taint the basement air with a musty smell and damp feel, she decided it was time to be proactive about the situation and talk with some experts!
After reading numerous reviews from her fellow neighbors in Gainesville, she felt confident in making an appointment with AquaGuard. That same week, waterproofing specialist Patrick Arabia came out to take a look at the source of water damage in her basement. After a thorough examination, Patrick provided the best solution to correct her issue. He explained that by adding a Sanidry XP filtration system along with a WaterGuard XL, water leakage would be prevented, as well as eliminate that muggy feel. A few days later, Kareem Pitts and his team arrived at Melissa’s home and installed the products, as well as BrightWall waterproof paneling, which not only drains water and stops water vapor, but brightens your space!
Now that Melissa’s basement is protected from water leaks and water vapor, she can utilize and enjoy her extra space downstairs and no longer has to worry every time a storm blows through Gainesville!
After searching for quite some time, Chris K. finally found his Georgian dream home in the Gainesville area, only to find that his crawl space suffered from a great deal of issues! The block walls of the crawlspace were cracking, causing the foundation to slowly crumble. Those cracks allowed water to intrude into the finished basement. As more and more water accumulated with each storm, the damage worsened. Chris knew that he was going to have to take action and turned to the one place he knew he could trust.
AquaGuard was sensitive to the fact that Chris’s situation needed to be handled quickly and effectively. They immediately sent out waterproofing specialist Will Eustace to evaluate the issues mentioned. After an adequate review of the foundation, crawlspace, and water leak, Will recommended a long-term solution for Chris. When AquagGuard technician Kyle Goggin arrived on site, he installed the push pier system to secure the foundation, as well as a Power Brace and WaterGuardPort to stabilize and straighten the basement walls and aide with water drainage.
AquaGuard’s technicians were so knowledgeable and reliable that Chris’s crawl space problem was solved once and for all. Since then, he has been able to move into his Gainesville home, and has actually gained a more livable space that he can enjoy with family and friends!
Charles owns a home that his disabled sister occupies, so when she voiced her concerns about the water accumulating in the basement he knew he needed to call in some help. After speaking with his neighbors and explaining the urgency of the situation, he listened to their recommendations and contacted AquaGuard.
AquaGuard was very sensitive to Charles’ circumstance and sent waterproofing expert Dale Cardwell out to visit the home a day later. It was very evident to Dale that the foundation was failing, and allowing water to flow into the basement at floor level. Dale scheduled an expert installer to prevent excess water from building up by installing a new SuperSump sump pump system. Also, because of the cold climate Charles lives in, Dale explained that an IceGuard would be very beneficial if the water in the SuperSump were to freeze during the chilly months. A LawnScape drainage system was also included to ensure proper drainage out to the yard and away from the home.
It meant a great deal to Charles that AquaGuard was just as invested in ensuring the safety of his sister’s living conditions as he was. Charles is proud to say that they exceeded his expectations and provided a sense of security thanks to the knowledge that each employee possessed.
Jean P. knew her basement was in a state of emergency! Water was leaking out of her basement walls and floors so persistently that she referred to it as a “waterfall” when she was on the phone with an AquaGuard representative. The representative understood the severity of the situation, and quickly sent out waterproofing professional Rick Demianyk to assess the situation.
After evaluating the basement walls, floor, and the foundation, Rick was able to repair Jean’s issues with the help of foreman Kyle Giggins. A TripleSafe sump pump system was set up to ensure that any future flooding would be prevented. The battery operated sump pump will continue to work even if power fails. It also has a second back up pump that kicks in if the first fails to perform. Since Jean lives in a colder climate it was also important that she had the IceGuard installed. The IceGuard, another “Plan B” option, begins to work if the pump freezes when the temperature drops. In addition to these installments, a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor was put in place. Over time, the water that had accumulated in Jean’s walls had caused them to lean inwards. It was imperative that Kyle install this device to give the foundation the extra support it needed.
As a result of these long-term renovations that AquaGuard performed, and with the guarantee of all their products, Jean is now able to relax knowing that her basement will remain dry for years to come.
Lee W. became increasingly concerned when he noticed that his basement walls appeared to be bowing and cracking. He knew that buckling foundation walls could potentially be very detrimental to his home, and recognized it was important to contact a professional immediately. After doing a little online research and sifting through reviews, he decided to contact AquaGuard due to their positive reputation.
Waterproofing and foundation expert Paul Ruschmeyer arrived at Lee’s home later that week to investigate and determine what the best remedy would be for Lee’s basement. With the help of foreman Paul Showalter, a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor and BrightWall paneling were installed into the basement. As a result, Lee’s basement walls were not only brighter, but totally protected from water vapor. The walls were also permanently stabilized thanks to anchor system. All of this was able to be accomplished for a fraction of the price Lee was anticipating!
The homeowner was extremely satisfied knowing that he now had a stable foundation and that his home was no longer in danger of caving in on itself!
Gainesville homeowner Joey J. became increasingly alarmed when he noticed water accruing in his basement with each passing storm. After doing a little investigating himself, as any homeowner would, he quickly became perplexed! He could not find any visible cracks in his foundation walls and his crawlspace seemed dry. Unable to pinpoint the issue himself, he decided it was time to call in AquaGuard!
An appointment was promptly set up with waterproofing specialist Will Eustace. Will investigated Joey’s crawl space and basement walls, and was able to identify the source of the water leakage. Just a few days later, foreman Scott Queener arrived onsite to install a FloodRing and a new SuperSump pump in Joey’s basement. He explained that the SuperSump would provide the ability to pump 220 gallons per hour, while working quietly and efficiently. Joey also took Will’s advice and purchased a Crawl Space Vapor Barrier which prevents excess moisture, mold, and poor air quality from being inhaled.
When Will and his crew finished the installation, Joey and his family couldn’t have been happier with the finished product! They now have a safe, dry basement that they can enjoy spending quality family time in!
