AquaGuard Donates New Shoes to Local Organizations

AquaGuard Foundation Solutions partnered with Operation Warm, a non-profit that manufactures quality coats and shoes for children in need, to bring 200 new pairs of shoes to two Atlanta-area organizations, Community Assistance Center (CAC) Upscale Thrift and Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia. The donation comes as result of a team builder event that took place at Groundworks’ annual Kickoff conference in January where 2,000 employees competed against each other for the chance to support their local communities.

AquaGuard chose both organizations because of their commitment to serving the greater Atlanta area. Community Assistance Center aids individuals and families experiencing unexpected financial crisis, and Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia provides clinical and educational programs and services for children and young adults living with cognitive differences.

This is part of the ‘Goodworks by Groundworks’ program in which employees are encouraged to support their local communities through non-profit partnership and volunteerism.
