Former Cobb County Commissioner Joins AquaGuard

We are delighted to welcome Bob Weatherford to team AquaGuard in the role of Director of Business Development for our Government & Commercial Division.

Welcome to Our Team, Bob Weatherford

Public Meetings in Atlanta

Weatherford recently completed his 16th year as an elected Cobb County Official, serving 12 years as Mayor Pro Tem of Acworth and the last 4 years as Cobb County Commissioner.

Weatherford says that “In my Government capacity, I saw first-hand the savings, in both time and dollars that AquaGuard Foundation Solutions can provide with their engineer-designed PolyLEVEL materials. This is the main reason I joined the ranks and now work for them, as we contracted the company many times to repair Cobb County’s infrastructure needs.”

Bringing his vast knowledge of the inner-workings of government protocols, Weatherford expanded on the variety of projects that require PolyRenewal™ services within County limits. “From patching or filling leaking drainage pipes to leveling sidewalks, concrete roadway slabs and bridge approaches, I’ve watched firsthand as AquaGuard’s professional technician’s problem-solve, lateral think and get the job done!” claims Weatherford.

Weatherford’s goal is to work closely with Local, County and State municipalities, helping to reduce costs and save time and disruptions. “In most cases we are able to lift and correct concrete, stormwater basins and asphalt at a much lower cost than the government or commercial entity can internally, thus saving taxpayers and project dollars” explains Mr. Weatherford.

Co-Owner of AquaGuard Joe Rusk said that “We are fortunate to have a person of Bob’s caliber step-up to the mark. We are in a growth curve and his ability to pursue meaningful relationships in the commercial & government arena is imperative to successfully implement our strategy and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead.”
Areas that can be repaired using PolyRenewal™ include loading docks; warehouse floors; Airport tarmacs, school parking lots, grain bin slabs and more.
