Are you tired of chilly floors? Does it cost you too much money to heat your home in the winter? Is your basement too cold or too moist at certain times of the year? Do you have a crawl space that’s damp, dirty, and moldy? Installing the right kind of insulation can solve these problems. Here at AquaGuard Foundation Solutions, we offer a variety of options for insulating crawl space walls, basements, and foundations.
We provide insulation solutions for:

- Exterior foundation walls
- Crawl space walls
- Basement floors
- Crawl space floors
- Concrete slabs
- Dirt crawl spaces
Don’t Settle for Poor-Performing Fiberglass Insulation
Although fiberglass is still one of the most frequently used insulation types, it’s not ideal for every application. While fiberglass insulation might be fine for insulating your attic or upper levels of your home, it doesn’t perform well when used in basements and crawl spaces. That is because basements and crawl spaces are more susceptible to excess moisture, and the R-value (thermal resistance) of fiberglass decreases when it gets wet.
At AquaGuard, we offer several different types of insulation to ensure each area of your home is treated appropriately.
Crawl Space Insulation
You hardly use your crawl space, so why should you consider insulating it? Even though insulating a part of your home you never spend time in sounds counterintuitive, it’s actually one of the best things you can do for your home’s energy-efficiency.
We install two types of insulation in crawl spaces:
1. Terra Matting
Terra Matting is a ¾-inch-thick material installed over crawl space floors and walls. Terra Matting insulation includes a durable moisture barrier, effectively sealing out unwanted water.
2. ExTremeBloc®
ExTremeBloc® rigid foam insulation is installed over crawl space walls. It has a higher R-value than standard EPS foam and comes with a radiant barrier that reflects heat for greater energy efficiency. ExTremeBloc® is also water-resistant and won’t lose R-value or be damaged by moisture.
Basement Insulation
Like crawl space insulation, basement insulation can improve your home’s energy efficiency. Not only that, but it’s also an important step in ensuring the comfort of what many families use as entertainment space. Other benefits of basement insulation include:

- Moisture and humidity control
- Reduces drafts
- Prevents mold growth
- Protects against frozen pipes in the winter
Foundation Insulation
In addition to crawl space and basement insulation, we also provide exterior wall foundation insulation.
